Vidya Pratishthan’s Commerce & Science College Indapur was constituted with Courses Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Computer Application and Bachelor of computer Science in June 2008, in a picturesque educational campus sprawling over 70 acres, 135 Km away from Pune and 45 km away from Baramati in Pune district with elaborate infrastructure, Spacious Building, modern laboratories, library, hostels, canteen and residential quarters for the staff, is the hallmark of this nascent institution.

Within the time span of fourteen years the organization has successfully undergone in the development of Innovative learning methodologies like ICT enabled Labs, Innovation and Start up Cell, Moodle learning Platform and MOOC learning resource. These facilities initiated a dramatic effect on students in terms of their application of knowledge. The college got captivating responses from an existing course resulted to launch new courses Bachelor of Science & Bachelor of Commerce in the year 2021-22 with optimum educational resources and innovative labs.

College Offers BBA(CA), B.Sc.(Computer Science), BBA, Bcom & Bsc. program in faculty of Commerce & Science.

Students have applied the knowledge to transform themselves as to be job ready asset. The Flagship achievement of the organization is, its Placement Activity. Placement achievement is so remarkable that the multinational companies like TCS, INFOSYS and L& T Infotech are now just within a reach of students. In year 2021 alone more than 20 students have placed in Multinational companies and in current year this figure crossed 50(fifty). Institution inculcates soft skills, Communication Skills and Entrepreneurial Spirit by arranging world class training programs by Professional trainers from places like IIT.

The remarkable online learning facilities like Coursera and Edx has made students world class Competitors and star achievers. Recently Students have completed more than 1000 certificate courses from the universities across the globe. This kind of transformation has ingrained professionalism in students.

Institute believes in the balanced growth of students and Knowledge investment within students. There is considerable upliftment in the preference of internship programs among the students.

More than 30 students are engaged with SPARKS foundation internship and 13 students are following the international level internship of IMUN. In Sept 2021 institute has signed MOU with Edu-net foundation to implement IBM Skills build Program. More than 500 certificates in Soft Skills, IT and Management have been bagged by the students till date. Student have also realized the social responsibility through the exposure of working programs of NSS.

The Field basis programs have contributed in enhancement of practical life knowledge. The students have developed themselves as good citizens.

To keep learning going in current pandemic situations, Institute has adopted innovative learning management system that is ‘MOODLE’. More than 16 Teachers have upgraded the proficiency in the utility of the software. To cope with challenge there is requirement of innovations. Faculty members have gone through the dynamic workshop like BODHI TREE for the quality enhancement and to have technical expertise in the implementation of teaching methodologies.

The journey is on the right track is validated by the fact of increase in admissions. It is one of the quality indicators that students are opting and preferring the institute. The department of Bachelor of Computer Application has filled the quota of 80 students. There is waiting list for the admission in academic year 2022-23. The admissions of Science & Commerce departments are also scaling up. It can be said that an institute is heading towards make over under the visionary leadership.
