The B.Sc (Computer Science) course was started in the year 2008. Since its establishment, the Department of Computer Science has worked towards achieving excellence in education. The aim is to provide our students with lifelong learning and leadership skills that enable them to grow in their professions and advance to positions of responsibility. The undergraduate teaching programmes emphasize practical hands-on training, placement activities. The department organises various extra-curricular activities to enhance the skills and knowledge of the students. The staff organises seminars to keep students abreast with the latest developments in technology like IoT, cloud computing, cyber security, etc. The Department boasts of a strong alumni network. The students of our department have made the college proud by being placed in various MNC companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, LTI, Capgemini, Accenture, Mphasis, DCX, T- System, Syntel and many more. The staff at the department are qualified, professional and motivated. The department has 05 well-equipped laboratories all provided with high-speed internet, ICT enabled classrooms.
B.Sc. in Computer Science is a three-year undergraduate degree course that deals with the principles and applications of the computer. The main agenda of the degree course is the technical implementation of computers and computer systems. Students in the three-year degree course undertake various term papers, practical sessions and learning theoretical foundations of the computer.
B.Sc. in Computer Science makes students job ready to work with numerous IT and software companies as it focuses on computing methods, programming, and database. Students during the three-year programme study wide range of subjects such as operating system, number system and codes, control structures, arrays, and functions.
