The college has established a Grievance Redressal Committee to address and resolve students' grievances in a fair and transparent manner. Students may submit their grievances in writing to the committee by placing them in the grievance drop box located outside the Principal’s office or through the prescribed grievance submission process. The application should include the student's name, class, roll number, contact details, and a clear description of the grievance. All grievances are handled confidentially and resolved promptly as per college rules. Anonymous complaints will not be entertained. The decision of the committee shall be final and binding.
Prevention of Sexual Harassment of Women on the College Campus (Internal Complaints Committee):
- The College is committed to providing a safe, secure, and respectful environment for all students, teaching staff, non-teaching staff, and visitors. In accordance with the provisions of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013, the College has constituted an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) to prevent and address incidents of sexual harassment on the campus.
- The Internal Complaints Committee works to create awareness about gender sensitivity, promote a healthy and inclusive environment, and ensure that all complaints related to sexual harassment are addressed promptly, fairly, and confidentially. The Committee conducts awareness programmes, counselling sessions, and preventive activities to educate students about their rights and responsibilities.
- Any student who experiences or witnesses sexual harassment may submit a written complaint to the Internal Complaints Committee. Complaints can be submitted by dropping a written application in the complaint boxes placed in the Ladies Room and near the Watchman’s Post or by contacting any member of the Committee. The complaint should clearly mention the student's name, roll number, class, contact details, and a brief description of the incident.
- Upon receipt of a complaint, the Committee follows a fair and impartial inquiry process while maintaining strict confidentiality. Necessary support and guidance are provided to the complainant, and appropriate action is taken in accordance with the rules and regulations of the institution and the applicable legal provisions. The identity of the complainant and all proceedings related to the complaint are kept confidential to protect the dignity and privacy of the individuals involved.
- The College maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards sexual harassment and is dedicated to ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment for all students. Anonymous complaints will not be entertained.
