M.Sc. (Computer Science) is a two-year postgraduate programme offered by Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) under the National Education Policy (NEP 2020). The programme follows a multidisciplinary and outcome-based curriculum, combining advanced theoretical knowledge with practical laboratory work, project-based learning, and research. It covers emerging areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, and Database Systems. The programme prepares students for careers in the IT industry, research, academia, entrepreneurship, and higher studies such as a Ph.D. in Computer Science.

Online Vriddhi Admission Procedure (For Students)
The online admission process through the Vriddhi Portal is simple and user-friendly. Students should keep all necessary documents ready before beginning the application.
Step 1: Visit the Admission Portal: https://vpcsc.vriddhionline.com/
- Open your college's Vriddhi Online Admission Portal.
- Click on New Student Registration or Online Admission. Most Vriddhi portals also provide student registration guides and payment instructions.
- Enter your Mobile Number and Email ID.
- Create a password.
- Verify your mobile number using the OTP (if applicable).
- Log in using the registered credentials.
Step 2: Student Registration
M.Sc - I (Computer Science) . Admission - 2026-27
Admission Eligibility for F.Y.B.Sc (Computer Science).: Intake 160 Seats
Candidates must have passed any one of the following with at least 50% marks (45% for Reserved Category where applicable):
- a) B.C.S. (Bachelor of Computer Science)
- b) B.Sc. (Computer Science)
- c) B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Telecommunication, AI & Data Science, AI & Machine Learning, or equivalent
- d) B.Sc. (Information Technology) or B.Sc. (Entire Computer Science)
- e) B.Voc. in Software Development or Information Technology
- f) General B.Sc. with Computer Science as the principal subject or Computer Science as one of the subjects at T.Y.B.Sc.
- g) B.C.A. (Science)
- h) B.Sc. (Data Science), B.Sc. (Cyber Security), B.Sc. (Cyber & Digital Science), or B.Sc. (Cloud Computing)

- Two attested copies of degree mark sheet
- Caste certificate, Caste Validity (If Applicable)
